As an artist, it isn’t easy to reach or eclipse the level of a song you’ve just put out that’s an undeniable banger. However, on this new tune and EP, Nippa shows he’s just getting started and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. In the intro, he declares that he’s the greatest out of London right now and then goes on to showcase why.
The ‘Pay The Price’ visuals shot and edited by Faces & JRX begin with a co-sign from the Grammy award-winning producer Boi-1da. The beat then wonderfully transitions in, and Nippa effortlessly takes things over.
Nippa has the natural ability to move you with his music. It’s cold yet has bundles of life in it. On this EP, he shows exactly why so many people have fallen in love with his sound. The misty, exhilarating feeling in the production brings out the best in Nippa and creates a very sonically pleasing project to listen to.
He closes the EP with ‘Confidence’ which is appropriate as every word he sings he does with great conviction. He outlines his passion for music and how he puts everything he’s got into it. There’s a beautiful harp-type sound in the beat that makes you feel like you’re floating throughout the entire song.
On this EP, Nippa delivers lyrics and a certain tone for the ladies to feel. He doesn’t leave the fellas out though, as there are lines and cadences for them to mess with too. He really does offer the best of both worlds, and that’s one of the many reasons he’ll go far in this music game.
