Give M1llionz his flowers for his debut mixtape. The Brum rapper has silenced his haters with his project “Provisional Licence”!

“Provisional Licence” showcase M1llionz talented skills within the drill music sub-genre, proving that he’s not a “singles” only artist at best. Numerous producers such as BKay, Ghosty, HoneywoodSix, Jevon, and TobiShyBoy produced the flavoured, hard-hitting drill instrumentals for “Provisional Licence”, which complemented M1llionz in packaging a mixtape with an electrifying ambience.

The Brum rapper doesn’t fall short in experimenting with his creativity, evident in “Bando Spot” and “Mobbin”. M1llionz’s ability to borrow old musical styles from legendary artists and fuse them with his flow is incredible. The use in sampling 50 Cent “Candy Shop” for”Bando Spot” hook and Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal flow in “Mobbin” adds to the songs’ playful vibrancy. Also, it shows that he holds the skill to switch up his flow, which highlights him not being a one-trick pony in this circumstance.

Other aspects of “Provisional Licence” showcase his strengths in being a musical storyteller. This was a talent that his fans universally agreed in being one of his attributes. Nonetheless, the Brum rapper should receive credit for how he executed this ability in his debut mixtape. M1llionz ability to provide cohesive details within his lyrics while maintaining an exciting mood is unavoidable, which is noticeable in “Jail Brain”, “Mobbin”, “Intro”, and “Air BnB”.

Judging by “Provisional Licence”, M1llionz has a bright future in the music scene. It will be interesting to see if he sticks to drill music or expands in different genres/sub-genres. With his current talent, M1llionz has the potential to be more than a drill rapper.
